Experimental atmospheric Austrian DSBM reanimated from its slumber and reborn on ruinous cassette tape of the third month in the age of 2022.
Empty eyes weeping great streams of glacial alcohol, morbid fuel for morbid minds, down into the spiral drain of the bleak void, wretched fluid emitting forth the strange magnetic frequencies of a dead Austrian atmospheric black metal entity, known only as Verdensorg. Released and circulated in small numbers and small circles, this dissonant creature of industrial melancholy was brought to life by the one known only as Lord Sargeburt, infamous now for his dungeon synth spellcraft of An Old Sad Ghost. Long thought dead and forgotten, the mysterious ways of Under the Dark Soil have blessed contemporary acolytes, having taken its astral spade, digging up from that grave the spirit of Verdensorg – reforging it for the current age through the medium of the Dark Soil cassette tape.
Verdensorg is a vast soundscape of atmospheric and depressive black sorcery, tinges of industrial synth and dissonant noise to punctuate the melancholy of its audial essence. A dense collection of spells that provide a wide variety of moods and instrumentation, from the looming roam of lonely dream ambient synth, to the perpetual drawl of droning tremolo DSBM melodics, Verdensorg is multi-faceted incantation that has many grim surprises awaiting those who dare to plunge into its spiral womb stigmata.
